TruSteed Accounting & Co Ltd is a UK bookkeeping and accounting practice serving small and medium-sized businesses and sole traders across the UK. The practice is digitally led, paperless by default, and designed to give clients reliable financial support without jargon or unnecessary complexity.
TruSteed was founded by Tracey Steedon FCA, a Fellow ICAEW Chartered Accountant with accountancy experience since 2004. Over that time, Tracey has worked across small and medium-sized practices, tax compliance, statutory accounts, audit, listed companies, and large businesses reporting under UK accounting standards and IFRS.
Her background includes time with PwC and Deloitte, as well as roles connected to industry and business operations, including the ICAEW, Dr Martens, and Allwyn, the National Lottery operator. That combination means TruSteed understands business from both sides: as an adviser and as someone who has worked within organisations themselves.
Working with an ICAEW Chartered Accountant means clients benefit from a professional who is held to the highest standards of ethics, technical competence, and professional accountability. The FCA designation reflects over 20 years of sustained practice at the highest level, not just qualifications, but a career built on depth, breadth, and genuine experience.
TruSteed is not built as a high-volume practice. Clients work directly with the person handling their affairs, which means continuity, accountability, and a better understanding of how the numbers fit the business behind them.
Why I started TruSteed
After years at the top end of the profession, I wanted to build something of my own, a practice rooted in the values I have always held: integrity, clarity, and genuinely caring about the people I work with.
Small and medium sized businesses are often underserved. Owners get passed between junior staff, receive confusing jargon in place of clear advice, and only hear from their accountant at year end. I wanted to change that. At TruSteed, you work directly with me, someone with the experience to handle anything your business throws at us, and the communication style to make sure you always understand where you stand.
What makes TruSteed different
There are plenty of accountants out there, but TruSteed is different. With over 20 years of experience spanning every sized business, in practice and in industry, you get direct access to a highly experienced Chartered Accountant who knows your business personally, not a junior member of staff. I communicate in plain English, without unnecessary jargon or complexity.
TruSteed exists specifically to support small and medium sized businesses, and being wholly UK, with no overseas outsourcing. Your data remains in the UK.
